I've never met someone so dedicated and caring about each and everyone of her students. I was apart of Mrs. Carter's class in 2012 and she still remembers me, my problem areas in coding and what it took for me to learn the material. She not only helped me in my studies she also helped me get a couple of interviews with some of Atlanta's busiest Doctor and chiropractor offices. All in which I received great job offers. For that I am forever grateful. Mrs.Carter taught me the longevity in medical billing and coding. That I can work for myself, teach others, and live the life I wanted. Her classroom was not only a fun place to learn, it was also a peaceful place, a judge free zone. There were no stupid questions. This lady lives, eats, and breathe medical billing and coding. There was no question she didn't know the answer to. She is confident, she is knowledgeable, She knows this business inside and out and teaches it with ease. Mrs. Carter is a wonderful instructor. If it wasn't for her down to earth, compassionate teaching, I wouldn't have finished school or tried with all my might to finish with good grades. I graduated top of my class because of her understanding heart and encouraging words of wisdom when times got hard and sometimes harder. Mrs Carter believes in each and everyone one of her students . She does what it takes to reach everyone where their at because everyone doesn't learn on the same level. Being the person she is as a person whose been thru life, a parent, and a working woman and a instructor and a wife whose succeeded. She makes sure your successful as well. From book work and on the job experiences you will come out on top with her as your instructor.

I had the pleasure of being in Mrs Carters class for Medical Billing & Coding. She was by far a great and wonderful instructor. She showed me everything I needed to know about coding and billing. Had great energy and tone with the class. You could always expect her to show you how to find the answers instead of telling you. Like some instructors do nowadays. I learned from her. I am an instructor/trainer at my job for United Healthcare. I love what I do, and if it hadn’t been for Mrs. Carter showing me in her class, I wouldn’t be such a great trainer. She was a positive catalyst in helping me in finding the confidence and exuberance to learn the required academia, meet expected tasks, and complete my course of study , resulting in a career in Medical Billing and Coding.
There was never a time that would inconvenience her, as she made it known that she would be there for her students even after class hours were spent. All we needed to do was call, and she would help answer questions over the phone .
Each day I attended class with confidence and determination, knowing Ms. Carter would be eagerly awaiting to teach her class the ways of Medical Billing, and Coding as would be necessary in such a professional field"s work environment.

My name is Indy Brown. I am a former student of Mrs. Carter. She was my instructor at United Education Institute, where I majored in Medical Billing and Coding. I can honestly say that I've never had an instructor that was so hands on and truly cared about the success of her students. There were plenty of days that I wanted to throw in the towel, but Mrs. Carter would not let that happen. With her caring nature and easy going disposition she made learning for me such an amazing experience. Never left a question unanswered and always went the extra mile to help me understand when some tasks were difficult. In the end I graduated from UEI 7 years ago, and was hired on at my externship and have been thriving ever since. It's all thanks to Mrs. Carter for never giving up on me and pushing me to see my full potential. I am forever grateful and thankful to have been able to be your student. Ms. Carter was definitely the best Medical Billing Coding Instructor I have ever had throughout my years of education. She was attentive to each of her students needs and made sure we understood every assignment and test. While working, attending school, and going through my own personal issues Ms.Carter never gave up on me. We always kept a great line of communication and for that I am forever grateful. I learned so much from Ms.Carters class that I now look at my own billing statements and codes to make sure I'm billed currently. Thanks for being an awesome instructor.

I enjoyed her class so much. She taught us everything we needed, but put emphasis on the important everyday situations that we would encounter on the job. Other teachers didn't do that. The class was not only fun but a structured learning environment. Ms Carter knows what she is teaching because she has actually done the job successfully for many years. Mrs. Carter hands down has been the best instructor/teacher that I have ever had. With her teaching methods and hands on training I was able the grasp medical terminology and billing and coding within a few months. I passed all courses with A's and finished externship in no time. Upon externship I received a job offer for an insurance Billing company.
